For children ages 4-10, 6 oz. (It is worth noting that some trainers practice even with small children in 10 oz. gloves, so that the children immediately get used to the heavy gloves).

• Athletes weighing 45-51 kg will be fine with 10 oz gloves
• Athletes who weigh 52-64 kg are better off using 12 oz gloves
• Athletes who weigh 65-73 kg are better off using 14 oz gloves
• For athletes weighing more than 74 kg, 16 oz gloves are suitable
