Description
Athletes use magnesium carbonate powder to improve grip on the surface of sports equipment and minimize sweating on the palms. Magnesium is used in athletics and weightlifting, kettlebell sports, pole dancing, rock climbing, acrobatics, powerlifting and other sports to increase friction, bind skin fat and moisture.
Magnesium for kettlebell sports, rock climbing, weightlifting, pole vaulting and other types of sports in which it is important for the athlete to have a reliable hand grip with the sports equipment.
Magnesia absorbs excess moisture from the surface of the skin and provides good friction. Due to its solid form, pressed magnesia makes it possible to use magnesia more economically. This magnesia is applied to the hands in a thin layer and does not create a large cloud of dust. If necessary, the briquette can be crushed to a powdery state.
USEFUL TIPS
- Any magnesium dries the skin very much, so after the workout, we advise you to wash your hands well with soap and apply a moisturizing cream.
- If you use magnesium for rock climbing, it is convenient to combine liquid and powdered magnesium when climbing long routes (difficulty).
- Before starting, apply liquid to your hands, and during the course of the route, you can, if necessary, additionally use powdered magnesia from a bag.
- Use liquid magnesia for bouldering and speed climbing.
- In these types of climbing, a one-time application of magnesium to your hands is often enough, and the damage to your lungs is much less.
- Apply magnesia not only on the fingers, but also on the entire surface of the palm.
- Magnesia in strongly pressed briquettes is more suitable for kettlebell sports.
