Niacinamide has been found to stimulate neurotransmitter receptors in the brain, while it does not bind to receptor sites, providing a calming sedative effect. A large amount of niacinamide has been shown to beneficially affect the protection of joint and cartilage cells. Niacinamide is also used to support the treatment of certain dermatological symptoms. Niacinamide is not derived from yeast.
