Liquid magnesia is a special solution of magnesia, which includes alcohols, thickeners (usually rosin) and flavors. 

The main idea is to cover the palms as completely as possible with an even layer of magnesia and "clog" the smallest skin pores with it. Due to this, liquid magnesia is more effectively held in the hands and is used more economically.

Liquid magnesium is applied to the palm or to the entire surface of the brush. After some time (about 30 seconds), the alcohol evaporates and the liquid dries.

The hands remain covered with a uniform layer of magnesia, which may be missing by 20-30 intercepts, depending on the quality of the magnesia and the nature of the terrain.

This type of magnesium is more convenient to use on short climbing routes, in bouldering, speed climbing, pole dancing, and in weightlifting.

Depending on the manufacturer and chemical composition, liquid magnesia can dry at different speeds and hold on the hands in different ways.

It is necessary to choose liquid magnesium based on your own experience or on the advice of a trainer.

Advantages

Disadvantages

• It cannot be used directly during exercise, as it will take some time to dry
