Puritan's Pride Double Strength Glucosamine, Chondroitin & MSMcontains glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM – three popular ingredients that work together to support joint health. These ingredients are key structural components in the cartilage of your joints.

Glucosamineensures the formation and restoration of cartilage. The production of glucosamine in the body decreases every year, so replenishing its reserves from the outside is necessary for strong and healthy cartilage. It is also involved in the synthesis of tendons, bones and membranes.

Chondroitin sulfate- part of proteoglycan, a protein molecule that gives cartilage elasticity. Intense physical activity causes a sharp decrease in the level of proteoglycan, and chondroitin sulfate is responsible for its synthesis in the body. The component improves joint lubrication, stimulates collagen production, and increases the level of hyaluronic acid, the main component of synovial fluid.

MSM(methylsulfonylmethane) is a natural source of sulfur, without which protein synthesis, hormone and enzyme production, and tissue growth are impossible. It can be taken only in its pure form, because not enough comes with food. MSM participates in the synthesis of amino acids - methionine and cysteine. They are the building blocks of muscle protein.
