Propolis is a mixture of resins collected by honeybees from buds and tree sap, as well as other plant sources. Propolis is used to seal small gaps in the hive. The function of propolis is to strengthen the integrity and stability of the hive, as well as to maintain its sanitary condition. Propolis from NOW® is collected by beekeepers from active, healthy hives and contains a variety of naturally occurring bioflavonoids.

Recommendations for use
