L-phenylalanine, an essential amino acid, is a precursor to the amino acid tyrosine and a number of neurotransmitters and hormones. Phenylalanine is initially converted to tyrosine, which becomes L-DOPA, which is converted to norepinephrine, a key neurotransmitter and hormone of the adrenal glands. L-phenylalanine is also a direct precursor to PEA (phenylethylamine), another important neurotransmitter.

Recommended use
Take 1-2 tablets per day.
