Folate 1000 mcg (Metafolin® 1000 mcg) - 60 tablets

Folic acid must first be converted into its active form through a series of biochemical stages before it can be utilized by the body. Metafolin® (L-methylfolate) does not require conversion as it is bioidentical to the bioactive form. In other words, it is "ready to use". This can be beneficial for individuals whose bodies have difficulty converting folic acid into its active form. The active folate in this formula supports heart health. It also supports the health of the nervous system and the formation of healthy red blood cells.

As a dietary supplement for adults, take one (1) tablet daily, preferably with a meal or as directed by a physician.
