Product information. Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable from the brassica family. Broccoli contains a unique class of phytochemicals known as glucosinolates, including glucoraphanin. When consuming broccoli, chewing breaks down glucoraphanin with the support of an enzyme called myrosinase. When glucoraphanin and myrosinase mix, a compound known as sulforaphane is formed. Solaray® broccoli seed extract activates the myrosinase enzyme to support this process. Freeze-dried broccoli sprouts are added to this formula as they contain both glucosinolates and myrosinase enzymes.
Usage recommendations
Use only as directed. Take one vegetarian capsule daily with a meal or with a glass of water.
