Soluble fiber derived from products like psyllium husk may reduce the risk of heart disease when used as part of a diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol. A serving of whole psyllium husk provides 6 of the 7 grams of soluble fiber needed each day to achieve this effect.

Usage recommendations
Take once a day: vigorously mix 1 tablespoon with at least 355 ml (12 ounces) of water or juice and consume immediately. Be sure to drink plenty of additional fluids throughout the day. Start with a smaller dose and gradually increase it over a few weeks.
