NOW nutritional yeast flakes have a pleasant taste, as they are produced from a specially selected strain of baker's yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae. These yeasts are grown on enriched refined cane and beet molasses under carefully controlled conditions. These are primary yeasts and therefore are NOT a byproduct of brewing, like brewer's yeast. This fact ensures the absence of Candida albicans yeast.

Usage recommendations
Take 2 tablespoons daily, mixed with milk, fruit or vegetable juice. It can also be used in vegetarian dishes or added to protein shakes for increased nutrition.
